Terms of Service
The agreement between Storzy and a merchant using it to run a shop.

01The agreement
These terms are between you and Storzy, and they apply when you create an account. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may bind it. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
These terms cover your use of Storzy. They are not the terms between you and the people who buy from your shop - those are yours to write, and Storzy is not a party to a sale you make.
02What Storzy provides
Software for building and running an online shop: a storefront, a catalogue, an order system, and a dashboard. Storzy is not the seller, does not hold your stock, does not ship anything, and does not take on your obligations to your customers.
03Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
- The details you give us must be accurate.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- Anyone you invite into your workspace acts with your authority, and you are responsible for what they do.
04What you may not sell or do
You may not use Storzy to:
- Sell anything illegal where you or your buyer are, or anything you are not licensed to sell.
- Sell counterfeits, or use images, text or brands you have no right to.
- Mislead buyers about what they are getting, what it costs, or who they are buying from.
- Publish invented reviews or testimonials, or endorsements you did not receive.
- Break the law that applies to your shop - including consumer protection, tax, and data protection law.
- Attack, overload or probe the service, or try to reach data belonging to another merchant.
We can suspend or close an account that does these things. Where the situation allows it, we will warn you first; where it is serious or ongoing, we may not.
05Your obligations to your own customers
You are the seller and the data controller for your shop. That means you are the one who must publish a privacy policy, refund policy and terms for your shop, honour the consumer rights your buyers have, answer their data requests, and pay your taxes. Storzy gives you a place to publish those policies; it does not write them and does not carry those duties for you.
06Your content
Everything you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service - to store your files, resize your images and show your storefront to the public. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account, apart from backups already taken, which age out on their normal cycle.
You confirm you have the right to everything you upload.
07Plans and payment
Storzy has a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans currently begin as a 30-day trial and are settled by bank transfer - there is no card on file, nothing is charged automatically, and nothing renews on its own. If a trial is not settled, the account simply returns to the free tier's limits; you are not billed for it and you owe nothing.
Going over a plan's limits makes the account read-only for new records rather than deleting anything: what you have stays, and stays editable, but you cannot create more until you upgrade or make room.
Storzy may charge a transaction fee on orders, shown on the pricing page. If automatic recurring billing is introduced later, we will tell you before it applies to your account, tell you what it costs and when it will be taken, and give you a way to cancel that is no harder than signing up was.
08Cancelling
You can stop using Storzy whenever you like. Since nothing is charged automatically, stopping costs you nothing and there is no billing to switch off.
To close an account and have its data deleted, email hello@storzy.lk from the address on the account. We action it within 30 days. We will not put you through a phone call, a retention offer or a sequence of screens designed to change your mind - one email is the whole process, and we will not make leaving harder than joining was.
Ask us in that email for a copy of your store's data and we will send it to you before deleting anything. After closure, data is removed on the schedule in the privacy policy.
09Availability
We work to keep Storzy running but we do not promise a particular uptime figure. The service is provided as it is. We may change features, and we will not remove something you depend on without notice where we can avoid it.
10Liability
To the extent the law allows, Storzy is not liable for lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here removes a liability that cannot lawfully be removed, and nothing here takes away consumer rights you have by statute.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
12Changes
We may update these terms. For a material change we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use Storzy after that is acceptance; if you would rather not, close the account. Questions go to hello@storzy.lk.
